What we offer
Who we are
Bespoke Art education sessions for children and young people.

A diverse timetable of projects taught in small groups which enable both individual tuition and collaborative projects.

A fun learning environment, which encourages creativity, explores techniques and materials and builds an understanding of art history, led by a fully quailfied and vastly experienced teacher and educator.

Our sessions aim to develop self-confidence, build friendships, develop fine and gross motor-skills and give our students a greater understanding and appreciation of the world around them.

Whether you are already practically Picasso, or maybe a few years away from being Rembrandt, you are always welcome at Herne Art House!

Where we are Making and creating has always been a huge part of my life. This passion led me to study Fine Art as a degree, and then to train to become a Qualified Teacher after my degree.

I have led art departments in both Secondary and Independent schools, teaching pupils from ages 5 to 18.

My 15 years of teaching have given me a vast experience of working with different materials and techniques.  Guiding pupils through exciting curricula, helping them to gain formal qualifications and scholarship applications, has been an absolute joy.
We're based at 18 Albion Lane, in the village of Herne. CT6 7LP
